As part of the Collective Commons project, we are compiling a resource of information about Pinhoe, including city, county and regional policies which underline its position as the city’s entry point to the Exeter and East Devon Growth Point area.
Our research has identified the opportunity to connect Pinhoe to Exeter’s nature recovery network across the city’s well-established Valley Parks: the Northern Hills which reach into Pinhoe’s village history along hollow lanes and across the skyline, also connect to the ancient woodlands and Roman history within Stoke Woods.

VILLAGE WEBSITE
Alongside our social media conversations we also provide a village website where we share info including recommendations for the Pinhoe Business Network and local news – everything from the Community Speedwatch Team to information about bus and train scheduling. Photos sent in by residents as part of our citizen science campaigns are compiled into neighbourhood evidence of flooding, wildlife sightings, traffic monitoring etc. You can find us at Pinhoe Village
LOCAL HISTORY

We are building an information resource, sharing documents relating specifically to Pinhoe, Monkerton and neighbouring communities in East Devon, as part of an ongoing project to publicise information about decisions and discussions which affect local residents. Context and explanations will be provided in as much detail as possible, using straightforward language, avoiding jargon and providing specific detail wherever possible.
