Friends of Pin Brook

Springing from the ground in Fairy Dell near Goffin Land, deep in the beacon hills of Pinhoe, Pin Brook meanders all the way through the village. Beneath the railway at the foot of Eastern Fields, through Station Park and Monkerton, under the motorway and along the side of Pinhoe Scout Hut and the community field, the Brook joins the River Clyst at Mosshayne, in the Minerva Country Park.

Pinhoe Forum and Wild Pinhoe have joined Broadclyst Environment Group to take part in the Westcountry Rivers Trust citizen science project, to monitor Pin Brook. As well as measuring the quality of the water, volunteers also record local biodiversity.
